Ideas & Inspiration For Living A Positive Life...

Being a positive person isn't always easy! Illness, personal challenge, and the everyday stress
of life can interfere with our ability to focus on the positive. So what can you do to be
more positive and attract more positive energy to your life?
1. Remember your thoughts create your reality.
If you focus on what is wrong, what you don't want, and what is lacking
in your life, you will continue to attract more of the same. Consciously
shift your attention to what is right, what you do want, and the
blessings you do have to be grateful for. It is estimated that
we have more than 60,000 thoughts each day - that's 60,000
opportunities to think and be positive!
2. Clearly define your goals and intentions.
Use positive affirmations to keep you focused on these goals!
Visualization is another powerful tool: if you want to be it,
you have to see it!
3. Create an environment of positivity.
Surround yourself with positive people, and avoid
situations and people who bring you down!
4. "In all things be grateful"
You can always find a blessing in every situation, even when life
doesn't go your way! Harvest the good from every experience - there
is a lesson and purpose to all that happens. Finding things to be
grateful for, even in the most difficult of circumstances is a source
of spiritual abundance, and a sure pathway to moving towards
more positive energy.
5. Have faith & patience.
We are all a work in progress. You are not perfect, nor is anyone else.
People will disappoint you, and you may from time to time disapppoint
yourself. Let go of the past - it can't be changed. Choose to believe
you are on the exact path it is intended for you to be...and all you
need to know & do is already here, or on the way!

To learn more about the power of thought and living a positive focused life, I recommend the work of the spiritual teachers listed below.
Dr. Masuro Emoto is a Japanese researcher and alternative practitioner whose experiments demonstrated the powerful impact of thoughts, words, and intentions. Dr. Emoto found that the molecular structure of water exposed to positive messages, words, and environments had beautiful crystal patterns, while water exposed to negative thoughts, words, and environments had dark, ugly crystallization patterns. If the human body is 90% water one can't help but wonder about the impact positive words, thoughts, and intentions can have within us! Dr. Emoto's experiments are documented in his book, Messages From Water.
Dr. Wayne Dyer is an author and speaker in the field of self-development, and is known as the "father of motivation." He eloquently shares his simple yet profound philosophies in his many books and live lecture CD's, all of which have been instrumental to my personal growth and evolution. “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
Eckhart Tolle has written several enlightening books, my favorite is A New Earth. Leaning to recognize the influence of the ego and pain-bodies has been a powerful opportunity to recognize the self-defeating patterns that were keeping me stuck in a cycle of negativity and fear. "The fire of suffering becomes the light of consciousness."
Louise Hay is a metaphysical lecturer and teacher, as well as the author of several wonderful books and other products focused on using positive intention and affirmation for healing and living our best life. "I will not allow being judgemental to hinder my joyous life. I accept everyone as they are, including myself."
"You are always only one choice away from changing your life!
